No, no way π
Ok, seriously. Back handers and bribes are standard practice across all professions across the world.
The real problem for Refs these days is that they are completely disposable ie get rumbled and your career and earnings are finished.
With the almost forensic microscope of all media forms and cameras it’s hard to conceal. Look how easily Allardyce got caught.
They are football people and as such will have their team, and I’m sure even at a subconscious level, that can slip out sometimes.
Well either referees exercise bias (consciously or subliminally) or statistically they produce stats for which the odds are about as likely as winning the lottery π
π
Seems pretty clear to me that Mike Dean is guilty of being a spud.
Hang him!

There’s also some damning stats about Dean reffing our games which shows he is clearly a spud.
I mean for heaven sake, his head even looks like a potato, admittedly one that is a bit scrawny due to blight.
Hanging is too good for him
I think you are being very unfair to referees. Most of them are top professionals and do sterling work. It is an ungrateful job, hard to please all and they are doing their best to deliver unbiased input to the game.
What would we do without them?
They are a bit like cops, everyone loves to hate them, but we need them, we really do
Boxer Ricky Hatton: ‘I tried to kill myself several times’
Ricky Hatton, the former World Champion boxer, has battled depression throughout his career.
Respect for you Ricky! It is very brave to come out with something like that from someone with a tough guy image.
Eddie
My reading of the situation is that we hate Dean
Having said that, he never seems to be able to help them get above us, so kinda, oh bless π
hating Dean is ok by me, in fact hating anyone is fine by me
But it is a difficult job, a poisoned chalice and I would never want to do it. I know that in this country it is relatively simple – you might just get a few threats and abuse on the street, but in other parts of the globe they are risking their lives.
Garth Crooks’ team of the week – only Bellerin and Kozza made it to Crook’s selection. yeah, right, Pogba and Alli better than Sanchez and Ozil. Course they are
Eddie. Garth Crooks played almost 150 games for Spurs.
Is there anything more damning?
Here is a glimpse at the obvious corruption of the Jasper Carrot look-alike.
Luckily for us, Dean couldn’t stop them taking a 5-2 battering in this game. π
Here’s the article that jpeg above came from….
Scandalous
http://news.arseblog.com/2015/09/mike-dean-2-0-arsenal-by-the-numbers/
I realise there might be a few non-Arsenal related incidents in these but the man is obviously a complete and utter see you next wednesday.
Dean gives the spuds a dodgy pen last night.
Pleased as punch.
Why he supports the spuds is anyone’s guess as he’s from the Wirral.
Dean thought he was going to get away with it until chas got on his case π
Here’s Micky’s 10.04 in glorious close-up again.
If that is not celebrating a spud goal, I don’t know what is.
The only thing that’s surprising is that he doesn’t jump into the melee with Dembele. π
Dean gesturing at the Arsenal manager after Wenger dared to question a bent decision against us.
The final proof – I rest my case……..
Thanks for the clips chas. What is obvious is that Dean fails in the primary requirement. To be a top ref, you should go pretty much unnoticed as the game flows, in his case he obviously sees himself as a participant ….. as well as a champion gurner π
Superb work chas.
Are the statistics accurate? If so, they are shocking
Mustafi!!!
Aaron???
There is a Skod.
Yes- He’s back….
http://www.thehighburylibrary.com/
How are people so certain that Mustafi is back and how back is he? Back to front back, back to the future back or back to play Palace back?
Yayyyyy.
Is “Walcott injured” the new “China on the blower”?
Micky – is that the title of tomorrow’s post?
Thanks Peaches
Bloody hell, go away for a week and the posts get shorter and shorter. For someone who doesn’t read them, this is a blessing..
I have to hibernate when it gets cold. Like the bears of the Arctic I am compelled to kip for a week and then awake with a new luxurious back fur which would make Norris Mcwerter marvel. It also acts as a splendid comb up.
Course refs are biased. How do I know? For a short while I trained to be one. I would usually pick on players who I perceived better looking than me, so often the game finished with 22 red cards. There was one particular game where the only survivor was this really shit player who look liked an obese Norman Wisdom. The game still finished 0-0
Dean is a stereotypical referee really. The rest of the blokes in my ref course were very strange. I was the only one who didn’t turn my crisp packet inside out checking for extras.
Dean obviously has psychological issues. I suspect a history of failure and a pathological need for validation. You would be surprised how many of these cocks failed at Police training? They don’t want to send you off, they secretly crave to get you in the back of a meat wagon were they can extend there truncheon.
Yes, Dean has serious psychological problems. I am more than willing to help, by giving him a right good keep beating whilst encouraging him to open up by saying nothing and staring into space as he speaks.
Walcott on his way to China?
Evening all, sorry not been around, been busy before Christmas been busy during Christmas, and a day at work today means a bit of me time on the train π
Going back over last two posts:
Stop the bus parkers:
No scoring loss = 0 points
No scoring draw = 0 points
Scoring loss = 1 point
Scoring draw = 2 points
Win = 4 points
On the question of Mike Dean bias, I think there’s a bit of it, I think refs can’t help being influenced by media, if we as Arsenal fans compound problem by restating that we are weak, tiny, not up for the fight, it becomes easier for the refs to give decisions against us.
As Rasp says best refs go unnoticed, because they get most decisions right, don’t bring attention to themselves and manage the game.
Refs I like Pawson, Oliver,
Refs I think are crap: Dean, Mason, Atkinson
Refs that are overrated : Clattenberg
he has slightly slanted eyes
terry, how the hell do you come up with those stories?? you is on drugs
Eddie
I think the word is medication
Drugs add a glamorous tilt on what could be a serious condition
Hope Transplant never lowers the dosage π
Peaches
Why not a headline. I’ll add some words in the morning
Morning all
Chas gon salon?
GiE – you what?? Just Dean, Mason and Atinson?? What about Darren Deadman? Because of you I hate every mention of him
morning didit. When are you taking off?
Eddie. No new boys in the air until March.
see, see, you are calling me a doomer. Doomer me arse. Told you Ox all of a sudden was playing too good for my liking. Watch him going to Liverpool.
Ronaldo refused Β£615k from a Chinese. Good for him.
Why, let’s not worry about the detail of when, did I call you a doomer, and anyway, I like a doomer.
I said, no new recruits allowed in the skies until March, not footballers
why till March? Are they hoping for clear skies? Then perhaps it should be postponed till July
‘you’ as in ‘you lot’ not ‘you Didit’. I am sorry only you Didit are about to blog
Wenger predicts record breaking January transfer window, that made me laugh. Maybe he is selling Feo to China
POST SENT
Eddie
Hold that thought about Theo π
ps if Arsene doesn’t get his transfer activity busy this window, he’s even worse at sums than I thought, and that was bad enough before
Morning All,
If we get offered big money for any player apart from the obvious, I say sell, sell, sell. Then Buy, Buy, Buy.
Forget the idea that players need to gel, or a team takes time to understand their roles, or anything about organisation. It is all rubbish put out to intellectualise football.
If someone plays poorly for 4 games, get rid. Get better.
We have tried developing teams, perhaps we should try the revolving door.
Quite right Erik π
Arsene went out and bought Paddy and Petit, and bingo, instant success. Double first time. Gelling my arse π
what got into you Raddy????
Cannot say I disagree π “We have tried developing teams, perhaps we should try the revolving door” π π yes yes yes!!!
Sarcasm Eddie. π
