Does anyone know?
Norwich. A home game – seems ages – and another chance to see the second string. Are Norwich better than Red Star? We shall see.
The Canaries are on a fine run of form, unbeaten in 9, and hopeful of a return to the PL. Can’t quite see that but I expect them to make the play-offs.
We have lost just once in 10 games! Wonderful win at Goodison playing some marvellous football, there must be a wave of confidence at Arsenal (if not amongst the fickle fans).
I think Mr Wenger will start just one player (Cech) of those who thrashed Everton and only because Ospina is injured – such is the strength of this squad and why I think that the longer the season goes on the higher the table we will climb.
Look at this team:
Cech
Debuchy Elneny Holding
Nelson Coquelin Wilshere Maitland-Niles
Walcott Giroud Iwobi
8 full Internationals and none are first choice players – without Welbz, Santi, Shokran, Chambers and Ospina.
Has our squad ever had so much depth?
The match is not being shown on UK TV so we will have to find some dodgy streams, if you find a good one, please post the link in thee comments.
Mr Wenger has never won the Carabao Cup, he doesn’t seem to value it. Do you? No? Nor do I 😀
But it would be great to keep this run going and for us to win our third game in 6 days.

COYRRG
Excellent hasty post, BR.
I’m loving how Jack seems to just want to play football whether it’s for the U23s, Carabao or Europa. He also seems to be taking responsibility playing with the youngsters.
Also hoping The Boosh’s fitness continues to improve as, presumably, he hasn’t become a shite footballer overnight and may become useful as a sub for the first team back three.
Stress-free, nothing much to lose and plenty to gain; long live the Caribou!
Nice post BR.
I heard wilshere is not playing so he will be ready to start against swansea
VP. Can you see Xhaka sent to the subs bench in order to start Wilshere, or will it be Ramsey?
Thanks once again Raddy.
No pressure, hungry young talent and the re-emergence of a potential top player … what’s not to love …. and so the bastards decide not to televise the game 😦
I can’t help getting excited about Jack’s return to form .. but I am also happy that Nelson hasn’t been ripping it up as he is gaining valuable experience without great pressure. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he wasn’t ahead of TW in the pecking order by the end of the season, I like his attitude and he is essentially a better footballer than Theo.
Morning all, nice quickie Raddy.
There’s no TV coverage in Canada either – which is a very rare event; I’ll listen in on Arsenal player
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud won the FIFA Puskas Award for best goal after his stunning ‘scorpion-kick’ against Crystal Palace in January.
The forward collected his trophy at a FIFA player awards ceremony held at the London Palladium on Monday.
Giroud said: “I like acrobatic gestures but I was surprised when I saw it in the back of the net. Everything was perfect and I don’t think I could do it again.”
Don’t know how it works outside the US– but if you use Google Chrome’s ‘Incognito Window’– your IP address is disguised.
Then see if you can locate ESPN3 for an online feed.
Thanks jw1. I will give it a try
Good Afternoon,
Carabao: EFL Sponsor:
Carabao Energy Drink is a Thai energy drink launched in 2002 by Carabao Tawandang Co Ltd.
Thailand’s second most popular energy drink.
These games can be; a great win for the kids — a yawnfest loss or just an excuse for those so inclined to rail at our manager — again.
I go for the kids to bring home the bacon!
feck Carabao cup. Not even on TV. Will post a dodgy link if I find out

I have thought about what Wenger’s team selection is likely to be all day and I cannot improve upon what you have suggested above.
The thing that bothers me is Holding covering the left, it just doesn’t feel right.
LB. I agree and have the same concerns. Perhaps he will find another solution
LB – you thought all day about team selection for tonight? you lucky boy
I know Eddie
Very shallow, must finish my tea and make my way to the ground now.
10/11.
Good to see Macey start. Hope he has a relaxed but successful night
Wow Erik, great piece of team selecting.
Thanks for the PM.
Damn it not being on the telly. No snuggling up on the sofa.
Methinks the Jack Coq combo could even be our best pairing, so double bugger we won’t see it.
One further moan. LB still to finish his grub at 6:47 before heading to the ground. Now that winds me up 🙂
IT’S BLOODY ON
They’ve added it, since this morning, on liveonlinefootie
Boy is that £27 a year value for money
not in the morning Didit, after 5, I checked at 5 and swore it wasn’t on
Thank you micky 🙂
Could be just the two of us on the sofa, Eddie
Draw the curtains, dim the lights, and get the chocolate out 🙂
zilch
hands off you fooking dirty old man
you fecking touched me first yer bloody…..
just watch the game will ya?
yes sir
On Viking tv 😄
Behave you two. No hanky lanky until half time
its on arena sports 5- Croatian if you have a firestick
Not found our range or pace of pass yet, especially Iwobi
Thanks kf
Norwich first attack and we concede. Straight through the middle of our CB’s.
Can’t get a stream. I was listening on the radio and we concede straight away 🙄
That was a disappointing half.
Concede from their only attack and create hardly anything of value
Want more forward movement from both Jack and Iwobi. Giroud has had no supply at all and is peripheral.
We can turn this around with less mucking about and more forward thrust
Well……I don’t think many of the First XI will be too worried about their places
Nelson is a joy to watch. Iwobi a little too casual.
Having said all that, I reckon there’s a top draw goal in this side. Hope we see it 2nd half
Micky – you’ll see it better if you look at the screen instead of my tits
Look here Eddie, I was rather hoping you’d knock all that hanky panky on the head once Erik arrived
Shameless woman
I almost died last week, so this I’ve decided to live the life to the full 😬
Ooer, straight red
GN5 Could outpace Elneny. Macey playing well so far.
Need much more from our midfield,
Sorry to read that Eddie. Carpe diem
It was probably the carpe that nearly did her in
of course, glad you’re not dead Eddie
Have I ever told you that I don’t think Coquelin is Arsenal quality? 😉
I ate a shoal of carp whilst in Switzerland, most of it Polish. Delicious
Nothing to do with carp
I took a big lorry head on, my car is gone but I’m still within a chance of seeing my team win the cl cup. In the future of course
Daddy – that’s my half sister you are talking about, you old trout
Raddy not daddy😬😬
Just as well Norwich are as bad as us at finishing
Raddy – all feisty defenders worry me. There is a fine line between them and red cards. I always think they are making up fir lack of skills with aggression
Getting a bit creepy between you two
Erik. Think they’re all rubbish, especially the attack
Wow Eddie. Scary.
Come on Arsenal, would love pens
Yep. Inches from death. He hit my top right corner, if it was my door I’d be gone, absolutely no doubt about it
AW knows how to make a late substitution.
Really pleased for the lad , it was Bendtneresque
The new Bendtner!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t see the game …. does it go to extra time?
Yes Rasp.
Extra time = Double grappa.
Oz 😀
and then pens, Rasp
Is a “double grappa” some kind of sordid Viking manoeuvre on female prey ie Eddie?
Thanks Micky, and my app is telling me we’ve just scored
He is the new Lord!!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Brace
9.41 No Micky, it is a wrestling move invented by Vinny the Violent Viking
I’m feeling sorry for Nelson now. Sounds like he played well and now Nketieh has come on and stolen the limelight
Jerome brings back birmingham carling cup horrors.
Strangely Erik, not a squeak out of eddie since the double grappa was deployed
I’ll draw my own conclusions
I’d rather win on pens. Love pens
Nketiah leaving them for dead.
I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again…God it’s good to have jack the lad back.
Fuck off diving twat.
When they hit the ground looking for the ref, you know it is a dive
Missed last bit including Eddie’s 2nd
Another outing assured. Good news. Goodnite.
Squeeky win but very enjoyable after the first 45 minutes.
Theo worked hard which was great to see, didn’t create much but was really helping the youngsters. Same with OG, always making runs and being the target.
Iwobi, Holding, Nelson, Maitland-Niles, DaSilva, Willock, Nketieh and Macey all under 21 (I think).
Eddie,Eddie,Eddie,Eddie,Eddie,Eddie
How forward thinking of you to chose that name.
Ps, Nelson was underwhelming, so no limelight stolen.
Turned out to be an enjoyable game after the first forty five minutes of tedium.
Oh ok …. so Nelson not great but Nketieh (sp?) grasped the moment …..
Exactly
Although, it was a tad more romantic than that as A we were about to lose in two minutes and he scored with hos first touch and then to get the winner on the night it was if a star was born. After that any time he went any where near the ball the whole stadium rang out with Eddie, Eddie.
It made a bit of a dull night quite fun.
LB – really?? I love that name 🙂 Yes, admittedly I am very clever indeed
Eddie chants is from Eddie the Eagle time, you know the clumsy skier
I didn’t see the extra time, glad it was more fun than the main part of the game
Morning All,
6 days, 3 wins. Nice
Morning … I’ve just seen the goals. The first was an opportunist poacher’s goal … but the second was a perfect bullet header jumping between 2 defenders … no fluke there.
Can there ever have been a better introduction to first team football than to score in 11 seconds with your first touch?
I’ve just read that he’d been with the chavs for 7 years before we signed him in 2015 … it gets better 🙂
He’s scored 7 goals in 4 games for the England under 18 & 19s
This wasn’t his first, first team appearance … “On 28 September 2017, Nketiah was called-up to the senior side for Arsenal’s Europa League match against BATE Borisov. He came on as a 89th minute substitute for Joe Willock as Arsenal won 4–1”
