Last 8 weeks of the season…

Drew against City – not bad

Beat Luton without being trouble – expected

Now, we are in the last leg of the season and key games are coming up in the EPL with 24 points to grab…I think we can maybe aim for 21 points and we must actually not lose more than 3 points because LFC and Man City won’t lose more than 3 points until the end of the season:

  • Brighton away
  • Villa at home
  • Wolves away
  • Chelsea at home
  • Tottenham away
  • Bournemouth at home
  • Utd away
  • Everton at home

Add the double confrontation with Bayern Munich in April and you could potentially say that the month of April is now the key month for us…

Man City game learning points: we can defend well and we grew since last year

Luton game learning points: Arteta is giving playing times to players like ESR, Partey, Nelsson, Nketiah, Zinchenko because he knows he may need them to tilt some games in our favour. My main concern is that Ben White is looking a bit tired and we can’t afford an injury or lapse in perform from Ben White. He is a key player for us. It was nice to see ESR and Partey back in the fold.

Next game is Brighton and it won’t be easy but I d play:

Raya – Tomy, Saliba, Gabs, Kiwior – Rice, Jorgi – Trossard, Ode, Martinelli – Jesus

We also need to rest Havertz a bit

    seems you warmed on Kiwior

He is still very scary to me…but Zinchenko was not reassuring yesterday and neither was Partey to be honest…they need playing time and they need to focus throughout their playing time

I cannot tell you how many times I have tried to get on here. Good luck guys all the best.

    Brighton – a good win.

Bayern – a sour draw…two stupid goals given but my goodness, Kiwior’s limits were exposed, Raya again making some silly mistakes and Jorginho having a torrid day against the pace of players like Musiala…

Today, it is Emery’s Villa – a must win game again…especially since Man City is hitting form again. I would play a very solid team today and not think about Bayern:

Raya – White, Saliba, Gabs, Tomy – Rice, Jorgi – Saka, Ode, Marti – Kai

And I d play the same va Bayern Munich…

Competing is great but winning is better…COYG!

Well well well…bye bye EPL…Man City may still make at least a double…they re so annoying and we still need to grow…

It seems that we are truly missing Timber now at LB…Zinchenko and Kiwior have not been outstanding and it seems White is running out of steam…

first lost in 2024 hopefully we go on another run of wins

PSG through the semi-final…hoping AFC can do the same…Ideal scenario for me is a PSG – AFC final, I d be happy with the result no matter what 🙂

    COYG!

Against Bayern tonight, I d play a stronger midfield and change our set-up a bit…

Raya – White, Saliba, Gabs, TOMY – Partey, Jorginho, Rice – Odegaard – Saka, Kavertz

Their key players are Kane, Sane, Musiala and then Davies, Gnabry, Goretka, Kimmich and Neuer. However, their central defense is not great so we need to play Havertz up front and weigh on them heavily to then allow Odegaard and Saka shooting chances…Partey, Jorginho, Rice to shore things up and keep their pacy players at bay.

well rc hopefully psg goes all the way

Fred…hope is a good thing…Dortmund will not be easy to beat and then facing Tuchel’s Bayern or Ancelotti’s Real will be daunting too…but I am hoping we can go all the way, it would be a fairy tale ending for Mbappe (pronounced Bappe by the way).
