I loved Wenger’s 1st win over them at Highbury- the 3-1 with those memorable goals by Tony and Dennis. It was the start of a stranglehold on them and we knew it was going to be special. Highbury was rocking and I will never forget my now departed mate Bill bursting through the doors at The Auld Triangle after the game and starting the chorus of “ Donkey Won The Derby” . Great times

rc78 would deshamp keep the 352 going to WC I think Theo Hernandez is way better than mendy going forward any reason why he chosing mendy over him

  6. VP says:

This weekend will be exciting or deflating. A measure of how far we have improved or same same. Arteta vs Conte.
We have a great team, COYG!!!

  7. RC78 says:

Hi Fred – Theo Hernandez is the first choice by far but he was injured…Behind him, there is a choice between Digne (injured), Mendy and also Lucas Hernandez (injured).

As for the 3-4-1-2, I think it makes sense only if Kounde (or Saliba) and Varane play. Otherwise, we have to go back to a 4231 or 433 set-up.

    OPTION A:
Lloris – Kounde, Varane, L.Hernandez – Pavard, Tchouameni, Kante, T.Hernandez – Griezmann – Benzema, Mbappe

    OPTION B:
Lloris – Pavard, Kounde, Varane, T.Hernandez – Kante, Tchouameni, Camavinga – Mbappe, Giroud, Benzema
