So what we take out of this dramatic win against Wolves?
- Laca missed quite some chances before finally finding a break through even if the goal will be considered an own-goal
- Wolves managed to score on early and then really frustrate us. We need to do smt against this type of set-up, really…
- Arteta was brave with his substitutions when he needed to force the game our way
- Nketiah and Pepe were effective when they came to the party
- Our defense looked a bit shaky tonight, of course, especially Gabs who gave the goal to Hwang…
- The Emirates went ballistic at full-time and it is our first time winning after trailing at half-time under Arteta
Another step towards the Top 4…COYG! Oh What a Night! We will have a tough run in March-April so let us take as many points as we can now…

Grit over talent tonight. Not the greatest technical display but I for one have been longing to see some guts and determination from my team and tonight was it, with a result at the end of it. We may be turning the corner in mentality. We were frustrated but didn’t give up too many free kicks or yellow cards. We just kept at it. Odegaard works his ass of all game, Laca too, shame he can’t finish. Nketiah and Pepe both looked good when they came on, everyone else played well. Gabriel was due a bad night and his team baled him out. Very happy with the result. We can truly say if we add two or three more quality players to the existing squad, we may begin to challenge the better PL teams consistently. Laca, Xhaka, Cedric are probably not good enough at the very top level but they were all excellent tonight.

I d keep Laca and Xhaka in my team but not as starters next year. I think they are hard workers and they are well liked by their team despite their obvious limitations…Bring in Kalvin Philipps and Calvert-Lewin?

It won’t be a sexy-silky team but it would be a tough to beat and resilient team that could be close to challenging at domestic level – we would still be far off the City, Chelsea, Liverpool teams and to be honest, Utd have more quality in their squad and it is a matter of time before they get roaring…but yeah, we are 2-3 players away from being a Top 4 and FA Cup contender for sure

How was it LB? I heard it was epic at the end..Laca went from zero to hero..same could be said about Pepe?
3 points, and it was earned.
However, that Laca cross turned in by the keeper does not happen once in a 1000 times.
Without ESR we seriously struggle, 1 shot on target in the entire 1st half.
Finally, galaxy brain subbed in Pepe and Eddie to at least try and score, if he does not do that you could kiss 4th good bye.
The last 10 mintues should have been the way we needed to play the entire game, all for everyone to see.
He should play to our strengths and not just have the team pass the ball around the back and into “zones.” It completely stiffles our creativity.
Now our games in hand are against the three teams that have owned us the last 5 years, so it will be interesting to see if Mikel has the “cajones” to do what we need to do, losses and draws will not cut it.
Keep on playing attacking futbol, please.
All this being said it is really hard to focus on futbol at the moment, my heart goes out to the people of Ukraine!
