Looking forward to the sea air being a tonic.

Afternoon people, many apologies for not be able to publish something earlier.

This afternoon – in fact, very soon – we’ll be kicking off against Brighton, down on the south coast. All football is away to me now as the stadium is out of bounds so it’s very weird.

This is the team if you haven’t seen it:-

Leno

Bellerin  Mustafi  Holding  Kolasinac

Guendouzi

Ceballos Saka

Pepe Lacazette Aubameyang

Subs Martinez Medley Tierney Maitland-Niles Willock Ozil Nelson Martinelli Nketiah

I’m hoping we can keep 11 on the pitch and both CB’s for the whole 90 minutes. Looking forward to seeing how Holding does, I thought he was going to be a mainstay of our defence …… still time.

Ozil has travelled, he must like the seaside air 🙂

Martinelli should see some game time today and I thought Eddie started brightly the other night so I expect he’ll get some minutes.

I was disappointed with Auba and Laca against City but mainly they didn’t really get to see much of the ball so hopefully we can be a bit more creative today. Ceballos worked hard the other night ……… that front five look a mouth watering prospect. Let it be so.

Enjoy the game.

  1. Off we go ………………

  2. Oooooh they’ve got crowd noise 😁

  3. Rasp says:

Thanks for the post peaches … valiant effort.

Arteta has made 5 changes, that makes me happy. Rotation had to be key with a game every 3 or 4 days. Time to get back on track … 3 – 1 to the Arsenal is my prediction

  4. I love the fact that Brighton have organised crowd noise …. if sounds like a proper game.

    Great shock from Saka

  5. Arsenal supporters too 😁😁😁

  6. Rasp says:

We should try to stop giving away free kicks in distance of our box … they must average 2 inches taller than our boys

  7. Oh no, Leno down, our best player

  8. fred1266 says:

Sue what you bought kolasinac for his birthday

  9. Aaaah there you are Fred 😁

  10. fred1266 says:

I think the noise thing started from yesterday’s game

    I hate how it delayed

  11. RockyLives says:

Great. Tuned in just in time to see Leno fouled and injured. Should have been at least a yellow for the Brighton player

  12. Do think they can hear it in the stadium or just for tv?

  13. fred1266 says:

I think there has been a clear lack of yellow with no crowd to force the referee hand

  14. Ooooh some good play there. Everything but managing to score.

    Hi Rocky

  15. fred1266 says:

They using noise from the FIFA football game

  16. LBG says:

Thanks again for the effort, Peaches.
Can we face any more bad luck? I cant.

  17. Sue says:

They have channels showing the game with noise and without noise… I prefer the noise!
I don’t think they can hear it in the stadium
So p****d off about Leno… come on, we’ve had more than our fair share of bad luck!! No more please!!

  18. Sue says:

    Nice post, Peaches

  19. LBG says:

    Atkinson again!

  20. Aaron says:

The curse of stan the maN Sue, that’s the way it is.

At least Rob is back in,.

If the Arsenal can’t sign Saka, everyone will truly know the state of our ambition.

    50/50 game.

Guen needs to be put on a 2-3 touch restriction.

  21. Ooooh lovely goal, well done Pepe 😁

  22. Aaron says:

True Arsenal form would be signing Mari to a $14 mil deal after playing 256 games without injury, and he starts for us and gets seriously injured and be out for next year too. Wait, that is what happened.

Nice goal by Pepe, pure skill.

  23. Aaron says:

    Clown show!

  24. Oh poo ☹️ Come on Arsenal Come on Eddie

  25. How can Bassouma be MOTM …… all those fouls!!!!!

  26. Aaron says:

Of course, 12th place here we come.

  27. LB says:

I am losing the will to live.

  28. I’m in that club LB ☹️☹️☹️

  29. LB says:

I will put a post in drafts, if there are two of three other match reports all ready there I will happily stand aside. lol

  30. LB – thank you, that’s very good of you, I look forward to reading it.

  31. LB says:

    Peaches

Post in drafts, but I have sent you an email, I need a second opinion on something.

    Best
    Lee

  32. jjgsol says:

3 goals conceded in injury time in 2 games. Is that a record?

    What happened to their concentration?

    No ozil again.

    Nobel prize for guendouzi anyone?

He must be someone special. Played the whole game in both games and we lost them both.

  33. Morning battered Arsenal supporters 😦

We have a New Post ……………
