This may be the most interesting and glamorous game so far this season, with both teams guaranteed entry to the next round attacking football is assured.
PSG are a fantastic team; full of wonderful top quality players, Parisian (which is a very good thing), a huge following, a fine stadium, playing attacking, intricate, intelligent football. Everything that I love about Arsenal (apart from tradition and geography) is true of PSG. That said, my Gallic friends consider PSG the Chelsea of French football, having come from nowhere and being bankrolled by foreign money
Beat them and we win the group, draw and we (can) win the group. We have to be favourites despite being outplayed in the away fixture with Ospina winning MotM. Had Cavani played to his normal standard we would have been hammered, but he didn’t and we weren’t.
How marvellous is it that Aurier has been refused entry to UK? Perhaps they can do the same for Messi, Suarez and Neymar when they next come to Arsenal:-D
Thanks to the quality of our squad we have question marks over the team selection. The media focus is upon who plays CF and whether Ramsey will start. Some Gooners will be hoping for Xhaka to start ahead of Elneny especially after our lacklustre display at the weekend. Given Theo has a “tweak” will Ox start on the right? Will Iwobi return?
What do you think?
My team:
Ospina
Jenkinson Mustafi Koscielny Monreal
Xhaka Coquelin Iwobi
Walcott Giroud Ozil
I am hoping that Xhaka will try some long distance shots as this is something we have been lacking in recent weeks. Sanchez needs a rest and will be on the bench as supersub, as will Ramsey and Ox.
If we draw the our performance in Basle becomes more significant, if we win or lose, it doesn’t. Unlike many I give little credence to the importance of finishing first or second, all the teams in the final 16 are very good.
Off subject, a little, what was going on with Spurs last night? To spend hundreds of millions to achieve the ambition of reaching the CL, why play a weakened team in a vital match? Bizarre but typically Spurs. Perhaps they will go far in the Europa 😀
It will be a cloudy, windy night with some showers, a win will see us Walking in Sunshine .
COYRRG
Uncanny that both Micky and Chas pre-empted my PM (Xhaka & EFP).
Thanks Erik
Could either or both teams feel it’s already job done as qualification for both is assured, and therefore, not bother. I am expecting a bit of don’t care from both sides I’m afraid.
A couple of unanswered questions for me. How is the Walcott baby? How is the Ramsey toe? How is the French beard?
If all the above are well and good, I’d expect all three to start.
Flippin excellent, BR.
I’d quite like to see Xhaka and Iwobi play.
Sanchez deserves a rest, so he’ll be playing.
It was interesting how much AW was bigging up The Boosh in the prezzer, saying that if he gets fully operational again, he’ll even give Hector a run for his money.
The odds are very tight for all three outcomes, so a tight as a gnat’s chuff nil-nil draw is on the cards.
If we both finish on the same points, 0-0 would mean we would finish above them head-to-head wise, 1-1 it would go to goal difference overall, 2-2 and they would be above us on the away goals head-to-head rule.
However I’m hoping for a goal fest. 🙂
Ok, two ways this could go
1. Like I said earlier, not only are both qualified, they may look at other groups and see Bayern and Real in second, and think…mmm, 1st or 2nd, don’t know which might end up being the better option. Why bother?
2. You give Aaron a central role, Ollie a start up top and make Ox Club Presidenti and simply say go prove yourselves
Another superb PM, thanks Raddy.
I see PSG very much in the same way as Chelski – they’ve been buying their success and have spent way more than The Arsenal to get where they are.
It will be close tonight. I like your team and would be very happy to see that eleven start.
A hungry, determined and match starved Giroud is a potent beast 🙂 let’s set him on his fellow countrymen who boo him when he plays for the national team.
In
Cheers Raddinksi, top stuff as always. Did you see the Zlatan statue pictures…? I bet it aroused you a bit, hey?! 😉
I am expecting a football show tonight with both teams going for it and a nothing to lose attitude. Same line up as Saturday (other than GK), but maybe Iwobi – great interview, Chas – for Elneny, with Rambo playing next to Le Coq. The CL games attract a lot of sponsors (and money) and they are high profile games for the club, so expect a strong line-up and a different energy from Saturday. We could really do with a good win tonight from a confidence/psychological point of view, and I think the boys will deliver. Koz to score. CoyGs!
*psychology point of view
No way Sanchez not playing
Can some one confirm something for me: are both teams through already and we are just playing for top spot?
Thanks for the post BR.
Yes, LB
The longer the team’s unbeaten run continues (in all matches since Liverpool), the stronger the team’s and supporters’ belief and confidence in something special this season.
Expect Sanchez, Ozil, Walcoot, with Giroud at #9. The major debate; Xhaka or Ramsey to partner Le Coq.
Both teams are still trying to convince themselves that they are truly up there. If not for anything else, they’d play for pride.
Brilliant curtain raiser, Raddy. Onwards and upwards. Whoever plays, I expect the good guys to put their best feet forward. COYG. 🙂
Of course we are favourites, we drew away and now expect to win at home. How Cavani played at home showed his true ability, it is just the fact that we fans think the grass is greener on the other side.
Onwards and upwards! 🙂
not happy with the Aurier situation. just gives them an unnecessary excuse.
Chas 7:44 implies we are expected to perform below Barca, Real, Shitty, PSG, Bayern and Juve. Surely, we do better than that, so we pull above our waist. Well done, the good guys. 🙂 COYG. Lets do it again tonight.
Looking for a strong attacking performance tonight. Win it and we will win the group. The final game will be a rest day. 🙂
Ospina, Jenkinson, Mustafi, Koscielny, Gibbs, Coquelin, Ramsey, Alexis, Ozil, Iwobi, Giroud
Subs: Cech, Monreal, Gabriel, Xhaka, Elneny, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott
Ospina, Jenkinson, Mustafi, Koscielny, Gibbs, Coquelin, Ramsey, Alexis, Ozil, Iwobi, Giroud. Gibbs? Interesting.
Micky. 🙂
The chance central for Aaron
Great to see Iwobi
You have absolutely nothing to smile about. No subs is a terrible performance. Like the beard though 🙂
Here’s an interesting fact:
Paris St Germain were formed in 1970 by the merger of Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain
Pathetic history 🙂
Edddddddddiiiiiiiieeeeeee
Ha ha ha Micky 😁
Ok, here we go
A bullet header for Arnie, and a 25 yard Ollie rocket for me
Come on you Gunnnnnners
Shoooooooooot 🙂
Iwobi shoot
So, according to the commentator, win or lose, the last game is a freebie
Guess the draw is the one to avoid then
Bloody hell, that’s ten minutes Arsene has been battling with his anorak zip
Lol
Gooaaaaal
Phew. Half salvaged. Now let’s get busier in the second bit
Ok half, just about. COYG
Shall we be honest about it?
Nah 🙂
We were completely outplayed in that half. Rarely have I seen AFC with so little control of the game.
The penalty was our only shot in the half and quite frankly I understand Cavan’s violent reaction.
Must do better.
Ozil pants, Jenks pants. Only Ramsey seems bothered.
Should have read your comment first Micky !
Erik
It’s quite nice to know someone else is watching 🙂
I was about to suggest we all sneak out, go to the boozer, and get ripped to the tits 🙂
Of course I’d get Ox and Theo on
I am already RTTT
Lovely finish from the cheating bast’d Veratti
Much much better
Erik, I’ve warned you about that crème de menthe habit of yours. Disgusting and the results are inevitable
Cracking game now
I’m at the game – someone told me that their keeper was scuffing up the penalty spot whilst Cavani was causing a fracas …. any truth?
maybe. maybe not. not telling 🙂
or….dunno
Damn. Ospina had that covered.
bollocks
Very poor with the subs, Iwobi should have come off 10 mins ago
Excellent from AW. 2 attacking subs.
Cooer, some subs. Going for it.Nice
Thank goodness Cavani’s finishing is so poor
we’re going to win this aren’t we
I can tell you guys that we’re seeing a different game here. Every
Everyone was calling for the subs as it looked nailed on that they would score because we were running out of steam
I presume their 2 away goals put them top of the group
Cavani was a brilliant plant 😊
Terrific second half but the better team won the group.
Did Theo touch the ball?
Poor management by Arsene. He held Xhaka back for 3 to 4 minutes – just enough time for them to score. The Ox should have come on instead of Xhaka any way, he was the only player to get behind their fullbacks
True Erik @ 9:40
Good second half entertainment. Glad we stayed 🙂
’till dawn shipmates. G’nite
I have said and will repeat for the umpteenth time wenger is tactically inept. The guy is completely inflexible to changing tactics..he throws players on in hope and if it comes off people call him a genius. Wheneve we play a good team there is never any plan. Its all off the cuff..i just want him gone..had enough of the guy. He sets up teams wrong..he starts giroud and plays iwobi and sanchez on the wings who play incisively rather than put crosses in 😕 then against utd he plays ramsey on the left and elneny in the middle with coquelin…worst thing about the guy is he always waits 65-75 mins to change things. It will be the same old story this year..we will get knocked out in next stage of CL and we will finish 4th. Fact!
Didn’t want to come top anyway.
Let’s face it First or Second in the group is not going to decide our progress. It’s going to be whether we can up our game out of the November malaise. Assaid so often over last couple of weeks we are crying out for Santi.
If we finish second which now looks likely as its doubtful Arsene will send the full complement for Basel. We could face Barca, Dortmund, Atletico, Monaco, Juve, Napoli. Compared to finishing top when we could face Benfica, Munich, Leverkusen, Real Madrid, Porto or Sevilla. I’m not really sure which one is better.
“The guy is completely inflexible to changing tactics.”
But…….
“he starts giroud and plays iwobi and sanchez on the wings who play incisively rather than put crosses in 😕 then against utd he plays ramsey on the left and elneny in the middle with coquelin”
Yep I can see how he never changes tactics 🙄
Agree GiE, as last season, we are missing Santi. And I’m afraid Ozil didn’t influence the game in the way he should. Having said that, I don’t believe this was Wenger’s strongest side out of the players available.
Rambo had a good game, I thought Jenks and Gibbs put a good shift in. Unlucky with the header but Iwobi is learning. Even after two games with the oilers. not complaining.
We were up against a very strong team tonight and we were below their level, so a draw ain’t bad. It has been a while since I saw such good defending, such quick transitioning and such penetration up front: PSG impressed me.
Great performances by Ozil, Alexis, Koz, Rambo, Coq and Ospina, but we lacked a bit of quality on the flanks to really give the Parisians a game. We may meet them again in the final. 😛
I think we are struggling for that bit of balance that we need when we start to rotate the squad. Rotate we must and Arsene I guess expects a number of our players to be able to operate in a variety of positions. But if he wants to play the front three he did last night then he has to put Alexis on the right, andfor some reason Alexis doesn’t play as well on right flank as he does on left.
Is it December yet?
Morning all
I think we’re one or two players short 🙂 ROLF
Poor black lab. Just ‘cos he’s got some grey hair means he gets the Santa gig every year
Bit like it’s a good time of year to be an old grey bloater
4:51 Exile!!!!
Are you Margaret Thatcher in disguise or what? Good disguise, but..
motning all, motning Micky.
only 1 or 2 short? time to go christmas shopping then. 🙂
Yes Arnie. I’ll have a Welbeck, a Lucas and a Santi. Grade A versions of each as well.
no Cavani then? 🙂
Blimey his movement was good, but his finishing awful, so still yes 🙂
Gooner in exile,
You have truly been wengered..if you think that changing the personnel on the pitch is changing tactics..the way a team is set up and plays should depend on the players you have on the pitch..we play one way that is all..never do we try 3-5-2 or 4-3-3..look at liverpool and chelsea they have great managers who will change their system if it isnt working or depending on players they have..wenger is incapable of doing that…changing tactics is not applicable to wenger because he has none..when he is gone people will understand
Stewdog, Wenger doesn’t need to change tactics; he is blessed with eternal luck.
Total. 🙂
Morning All,
Stew dog. Yawn.
Excellent second half last night, proper exciting end to end football against very good opposition. If PSG had a finisher like Ibrahimovic they could go on to win the thing 😀
motning Raddy. who is Ibrahimovic? the ponytail wielding tall punk pole-vaulter? 🙂
Annie. Yes (PSG sold him to MU in summer – it was an attempt at humour)
When is Eddie back or has he resigned again?
no Raddy, i haven’t resigned,
I am busy looking to buy a f***ing banana boat. Apparently in 2 years time I am out of UK back on the banana boat, back to where I f***ing came from.
I have 2 years to find one, do you know of any?
Maybe I should explain …. Eddie has been the subject of a particularly unpleasant racist attack and is quoting some of the abuse received.
The irony is that the attacker was himself not originally from these shores 🙄
Back to the football ……
…. what concerns me is that despite only losing one game, we have only really played well 3-4 times this season – Chelsea being the best display.
Now we can see this as good as it means there is potentially more to come … or bad, because we just don’t seem to be able to find the fluency and rhythm to our play.
I agree with GiE (and others), we have good squad depth and have to rotate to maintain fitness/prevent fatigue, but we are struggling to find consistency of performance.
Agree Total..He is a very lucky manager we have had 2 shots i think in 2 games and scored 3 goals somehow 🙈
Big Raddy,
It’s AKB’s like you that accept second best..why are u praising the opposition..such a small time mentality..this club has become cancerous from the top right down to the fans..a couple of good results does not change that..nothing has changed..every arsenal fan knows we will not compete in the league and will the CL..every year is the same old failings and its become embarrassing..Time4Change#WengerOut
Hi StewDOG, you may care to have a look at ‘About AA’ and ‘Room 101’ at the top of the page.
The message is that we don’t encourage the use of derogatory terminology or trite pigeonholing (AKB). Since we are all Arsenal supporters on here, we choose to discuss issues in a friendly manner. Disagreement is inevitable. Anyone who is repetitive and/or argumentative in their approach will fail to persuade bloggers that their view is correct ….. for that you need a coherent reasoned approach
Eddie. I wasn’t aware of any attack on you.
Strangely, I have a banana boat which I am no longer using though who knows when I will next need it.
I can lend it to you but only if you promise to return it in perfect condition – no dog hairs, no purple DM’s in the boot, no engine fires etc etc
This is Eddie’s new car ….

can’t promise you that Raddy 🙂 I am an eastern European scum, ****. *****, ****.
That is not a boat Rasp, that’s a banana car.
An own goal and a pen. Luck is clearly on our side. Sadly we are in danger of drawing Barca again or worse still Leicester.
Stew, he managed Arsenal for 1137 games and only lost 219 but he never changed tactics: he is a fecking lucky bastard all right!!
If only we’d shoot more often. 🙂
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38093131
Eddie
Sorry to hear that you’ve encountered some knobhead.
Unfortunately, there are quite a few about.
I know you’re strong and can defend yourself.
Hi Eddie
I’d just like to echo Chas’ sentiments @6.53pm
We are a diverse multi-cultured nation of mongrels, made up of every race in the world. A nation built up and made up of immigrants.
Britain also has a long association with Poland, and many lost their lives fighting our cause in WWII.
With all the technology we have at our disposal there’s really no excuse for the ignorance these idiots display.
People should be free to live wherever they feel is their spiritual home, and where they feel comfortable.
Keep up the good fight, Eddie.
Interesting game. PSG were very good apart from Cavani’s finishing (although, as Micky says, his movement is brilliant).
We were very poor in the first half and then very decent in the second half until we went ahead, at which point we went back into our shell.
Rasp is right to say we haven’t found our real flow very often this season, with one or two notable exceptions. I prefer to take that as a positive, given our unbeaten run and our position in the league.
We’ll hit our stride too,
Eddie – sorry to hear of the abuse you received. Do you want me and GiE to come round and sit on them?
thanks chas and Raddy, and all others for kind words.
You cannot defend yourself from someone like that. I don’t give a poo about his fecking racists views, but if I got scared, REALLY scarred, imagine what he could do to a normal person. He vandalised my car too and had something in his hand, maybe a screwdriver. All over a parking space – he wanted to park on a double yellow line in a ‘Keep Clear’ box and I refused to reverse into a busy main road so he could do that.
OK, I didn’t say ‘Sorry sir but I will not reverse into a busy main road and cause an accident or kill myself in a process’, but I wasn’t nasty, just didn’t move when told to do so
herb – that is sooooo nice of you, thank you very much
Rocky – yes please 🙂
I am truly honest here – police asked me what I want them to do about it. I asked for time to calm down, but tomorrow I will tell them to arrest the bastard. Not because of me, but if he can do that to someone white, can you imagine how he would treat an Asian or an African?? Nope, I will do all I can he goes to court.
I just had a look in slo-mo at the penalty decision last night.
As far as I’m concerned, if you watch Sanchez’ right foot, it moves about nine inches towards the goal line as it is contacted by the defender’s trailing knee.
Clear penalty.
(The co-commentator is looking for contact from the defender’s front foot, the pillock)
http://arsenalist.com/f/2016-17/arsenal-vs-psg/penalty-alexis-sanchez-fouled-in-the-box-after-beautiful-pass-from-ozil.html
I went to bed and had to come downstairs as I realised maybe I didn’t express myself well – to me all people are bad, regardless of their skin colour unless they can win us games. But to a racist Asians and Africans are an easy target. That’s what I meant. Good night. Sorry about starting all of these…
We knew what you meant, Eddie, and you are most likely right.
Chas
Completely agree about the pen. I thought it was obvious from the first slo-mo replay but the commentators missed it completely. Pillocks indeed.
Eddie. Sad to hear, but also happy that you are in your fighting best. This, by the way, is Raddy;s banana boat. 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYrqKSQWxf4
Now, two stories to narrate. First, in sconny Botland. Two days after the Brexit vote, a car pulled up in front of our house, with 4 young fellas hurling abuse, showing fingers, honking, and then sped off. Combative as we are, we sped up after them, caught up in a cul-de sac and confronted them. They kept on hurling abuses, laughing sheepishly and taking videos of us on their phones. Imagine. All this in our neighbourhood.
We reported to the police. The police took statements, caught up with the miscreants (we had the car regn no) and warned them, but recorded the case as a hate crime, not a racist incident. Somehow, the Labour MP from Edinburgh came to know, and has now taken the case up, met my better half and asked how he can help. The SWP now want to come and demonstrate in front of our house, but we dont want them to create a scene in our neighbourhood.
Please keep up the good fight. 🙂 It is our responsibility as good citizens to keep our voices high and maintain the quality of our neighbourhoods,
Second, last year, in Spring when we were in the US midwest, inside the campus of a reputable academic institution. A guy came up to us, in front of our campus residence, and said “You darkies, feck off from here”. Maybe my mistake, but I could not help retort: “You colourless braindead, feck off from here, this great country does not deserve barstewards like you”. This fella then said, “I have thrown out of campus an Indonesian nitwit who lived in your apartment, I’m going to do the same with you”.
I also made an official complaint. The campus police got involved, even the President’s office. Sadly. the man is still employed by the university and lives on campus. The campus community relations officer told us: “Thank you for making an official complaint, so that we can try to take action, but I am not much hopeful. Believe me, we have come a long way as a society, bey we have a much much further to go.”
Keep up the good fight. Onwards and upwards. 🙂
Eddie, I’ll extend on Rockys offer of assistance.
Weirdly the only place I have encountered a bad incident post Brexit was in London, but then whilst the people of Norfolk voted on mainly immigration grounds (that’s heresay as the only a Brexiteers I have spoken to up here have not been able to give me a viable economic case and resort to “well at least we will have less ….. insert Eastern European country….shops and people”) the number of immigrants is so few that they don’t encounter many to be able to throw the abuse.
Whereas in London I had to come to the aid of a couple of Romanian lads in a pub who were being told to leave the country blah blah blah.
As I said on twitter following Trumps election, the weirdest thing is 60+ years after WWII and the battle against fascism the country with the least right wing government of the major participants is Germany. We have Farage wanting to play Benito to Trumps Adolf and I am generally fearful for the world my kids have got to grow up in. I know this isn’t the place for politics, but surely as people of the world it’s time for the majority of progressive people to stop the old age right/left political leanings and get on with getting along and finding a solution that’s right for all. Could be time to vote LibDems.
Really sorry about that Eddie
I to have often been racially victimised for good looks so know how you feel. You would think that most of my assailants are ugly bastards like Steve Archibald or Andrew Neil, but surprisingly they tend to be types who would like to sleep with me, George Osborne etc.
A few years back I was taking a walk down the Southbank when approached by a man, who I believe watched more than the average quota of Television
He stared at me uncomfortably and came out with “your a good looking f*ucker ain’t yer. I bet you ain’t got much time for TV”?
I replied that I didn’t and that I tend to restrict my viewing to programmes with moderate sexual content.
This seemed to annoy him”What you think yer better than me coz unlike me you can watch that Poldark blokes hairy chest without feeling unusual? Good looking badtards like you get on my bleeding nerves. Name me the cast of the Walking dead Twat”
I tried to walk away but he followed. “How many episodes of Coronation Street you watched recently mate? None I bet, to busy sleeping with people who ain’t appeared on a sitcom”
I finally lost my rag when he began to recite a whole episode of Dr Who and threatened me by proclaiming he watched loose women whilst trouserless.
I pinned him down, and managed to remove from his person a copy of the TV Times which I used to beat him to a pulp, but not before noticing that next Wednesday UK Gold were repeating an episode of The Paul Daniels magic show.
The racist bastard got what he deserved.
No such thing as a periodic bench. Pathetic. No cigar.
Morning all.
Eddie, lovely to see you back. Please stay. It IS therapy, just no-one knows it.
Ooo, Oooo, it’s a quiz. Mullet, Bass and err…
Pollock, Flounder and Bloater
Might coffee help me or am I just thick?
thick obviously 🙂
thank you all, it is therapeutic indeed.
I am very pleased for Rooney. He answered his critics with a great performance. i have always liked Wayne. yeah, yeah, yeah, coz he likes grannies
Morning all. Huge chaos because of the Lufthansa strike. Hopefully can be back to pavilion safely.
Of thickness and coffee 🍵. Nice 😊
arnie, can you email me please, i need to ask you some question about economy
Mendeleyev,periodic table of elements.
Bournemouth. 10th in the table, good manager with great insight, could be tough
Will do Eddie. On return 😊
Morning All,
Slow start for Raddy.
My only experience of racism in Copenhagen was an attack by some Muslim boys on a Jewish rally in the centre of town. Thankfully, the locals made it very clear that such behaviour was unacceptable in a proudly multi-cultural city.
It gives me joy that Arsenal have such a multi-racial fan base and we have the first LGBT fan club in football.
yes Raddy, multi racial mix is something to be proud of and to be enjoyed. I always laugh at the fact that if God exists, my grandchildren are well covered – Christian, Muslim and Jewish blood in their veins. I am immensely proud of that. I just hope that God is not a Buddhist 🙂
A neighbour from my previous house phoned me the other day and I told her what happened. She is Hindu and said that for them it happens at regular intervals. Both her children emigrated to Australia where they feel more at home.
Eddie, Melbourne regards itself as the Multicultural capital of the world.
So thats –
Sporting Capital
Arts/Culture Capital
Multicultural Capital
Cafe/Food Capital
and hence why we keep winning most liveable city
But like everywhere, we have our fair share of knobs
VP – jacaranda trees and trams to the seaside made me fall in love with Melbourne. you lucky, lucky man
chas – why are you repeating yourself?
the old chestnut tomorrow – Chavs or Totts? Draw out of question. Vote.
Chavs win would make their position at the top of the tree stronger and would make me sick.
Tottenham win would take them above us in the table.
Whichever way you look it is a shitty situation.
Totts for me.
Eddie. just sent you an email. Cheers.
great, thanks! glad you landed
It’s like saying which leg would you like to saw off with a rusty bread knife, right or left?
probably the one with the fecked knee
Very wise. 🙂
As chavs are more of a threat at the moment, then it makes logical sense to want them to lose.
Advantage of a chav win, is it’s Invincibles Day.
FIRST referral appointment next Wed. Hooray for the NHS!
aha, so you cannot go to Southampton game.
You know we don’t go EFL Cup!
Eddie
Is your Mum there with you in Cuffley?
What sort of music do you put on when she’s about?
ha ha ha, that’s a brilliant line about Mesut
And a great response by Eddie re the leg
Hooray for the weekend. Much needed at this I can tell you.
Ozil finding space in Mecca 🙂 Brilliant
no music. Silence is golden. She annoys me beyond belief – lives on her own in Poland and manages somehow. Gets off the plane here and becomes an invalid. Today she left a bunch of parsley on the worktop to wilt because she doesn’t know what to do in a foreign country!!!!!
She has polish TV in her room so I don’t see her in the evenings 🙂
Micky
Spin us a tune.
What’s on the DidIt jukebox tonight?
Eddie
Why can’t you do the economy thing with Beardy on here?
That, or copy me in secret squirrel style of bcc so he doesn’t know I’m there 🙂
Is it about cashless in India/Australia by any chance? Very interesting topic.
i didn’t realise it was EFL on Wednesday
Superb, getting her Polish TV in her room.
Gives you a welcome break, I’m sure. 🙂
I’ve been cashless in India before.
Chas
You’ll be very disappointed. I’m getting stuck into classical music self education
By the way, can’t remember the blokes name, but the son of Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood is having a secret location burn up of all his parent’s old punk memorabilia and stock in London tomorrow.
I agree with him, when he says it’ll become collectors shit and end up on the walls of bankers, plus it has no relevance today
micky – I know your views already and chose to disagree. So I am trying arnie now 🙂 chas and raddy are too socialist, but I guess so is arnie
Arnie is the expert in the field and I am sick and tired of listening to people with no expertise whatsoever what is going to happen post Brexit. I know that no one knows, but everybody is happy to give predictions which completely contradict one another. Brexiters see bright future, Remoniacs are already wallowing in self pity, doom and gloom. What am I to think??? I need guidance
That link I put up at 12.52 looks quite good.
Peaches and Rasp
I think you have to send them a message from that link if you want AA to be included.
Might be worth doing.
I’m not wallowing anywhere.
“Brexiters see bright future”
Really?
I’ll leave you alone with Beardy 🙂 🙂
I’m not really into punk memorabilia.
What classical are you listening to?
We’re all up the Gary Glitter because of the lack of ice at the North Pole, so who gives a monkey’s about economics? :0
How does Eddie get Polish tv, as whatever device/sytem she uses, must be the answer to getting football?
ie Arsenal games are screened live in other countries on their proper telly channels
micky – well, good for him! Not many could afford to burn £5m collection
polish tv in her room is a godsent. Yesterday she found out on the news that the maintenance of the Buckingham palace costs £350mil pa and it will cost further £350mil to renovate it next year, all curtesy of the taxpayer. Did you know that? I didn’t 🙂
What a great plan!
How do you get Polish TV in your Ma’s bedroom, Eddie?
ha ha ha Chas. True. Get some gold and some tinned fish and hide 🙂
Eddie
Possibly in Chas style: didn’t know that and don’t care either 🙂
I knew that about Buck House.
That’s chump change to shell out on Her Madge’s gaff.
Chas
Didn’t really understand your Arsenal twitter link earlier, but surely if Peaches/Rasp send this site to a wider audience, we’ll be inundated with utter drips dribbling on about football all bloody day 🙂
As far as I’m concerned, the quality of chit chat on here goes up exponentially during an Interlul. Cup cake baking ‘n all that 🙂
easy peasy and all ligit. Next time you are in Poland buy a decoder for £10 and pay for contract, about £15 a month. Bring it to UK, get a Polak to install the satellite dish for about £200 and Bob’s your uncle. I think you can do all of it here, but would probably pay 5x as much.
Hold on a second, just hold on – a few weeks ago you had a bushy tail and broad smile on your face dissing all the post Brexit fears I had. What happened to you? Reality check or shit hit the fan?
Not true Eddie. Never said anything of the sort.
The shit will hit the fan, just not yet, but when it does we’ll be better off out is one thing I said, but still in the shit
The future is in small, not global.
No more Brexit. Bored of that. Thought it was going to be something else
Eddie
Thanks for the telly info
Had hoped it was NOT ligit, and therefore cleverly backdoor’ish and free 🙂
Not watched this for a bit…….love the track.
Oh God Chas, you’ve just reminded me of something truly hurlworthy. I once stumbled upon Ade Edmondson (young ones) and his shitty folk group doing Clash numbers. Prick 🙂
I seem to remember that you were livid at the time.
You are spot bloody on.
And polite 🙂
the future is in the small not global. Bullshit. The small will never be able to compete with the global giants. Perhaps on a small scale, like my organic butcher has always got customers queuing outside, but that’s a very small enterprise. Vast majority of people buy organic meat from Tesco and the likes. That will never change.
Bullshit ha ha 🙂
I never said “compete” either. Who the fuck wants to compete, it’s completely missing the point.
One life baby 🙂
Theo through the middle?
wenger out.
and so am i. Feel like reading a novel dripping with blood. So far 6 bodies with hammered in heads, great stuff for bedtime
ha ha ha you’re so funny. Sweet dreams 🙂
Morning All,
Missed some fine banter last night. Great to read early doors.
Now, onto football – it is the weekend and someone has to do it. Chavs or Totts? Both shitehawks and without a redeeming feature. A draw?
No, it has to be a Chav win so the Cockspurs stop imagining they are the Invincibles.
oh Raddy, we have already decided yesterday. Chas will chop off his leg with gummy leg, simples
double espresso please
chop off his gummy leg with a blunt knife.
No. An espresso will quicken the blood flow which is dangerous when operating.
Nil by Mouth for a day or two should see chas right
very good 🙂 unfortunately is hopping to the game tomorrow and we know what happens prior to the KO
Totts for me, I really cannot stomach chavs, despite them having a nice new manager. I still want them to lose, every time.
Totts don’t bother me, they will flop at the last minute anyway
raddy – did you hear what is happening in uk with several footballers coming forward saying they were abused by their coaches? Crewe ex coach Barry Bennell has allegedly abused a few young footballers
he was a great man, love him or hate him he was the one and only, formidable character
Sorry Eddie, but it’s a Chav win for me too. Win our game and we’d then be 4 above Spuds and same behind Chavs who we’ll deal with later in the season. Plenty of time for that.
Morning all.
no, no, no. you got it all wrong. Chavs win, stay top at xmas and ruin my festive season. No, come on you Spurs
Defo a great man
That morbid geezer’s gonna have to update his Sgt Pepper.
I have written a Post. It is complete bolleaux but we need to maintain a profile on Newsnow.
Shall I post it soon or at the normal time of 09.30?
chas. I don’t Twatter and doubt if Rasp is available to contact the Library – could you do it, pretty please?
Yes I can, BR, though the site referenced is naff all to do with twitter. 🙂
7:56 true, and a front row seat as well.
Erik
I always think the vast majority of people (ie us four) have cleared off by 9:30, then again, I think the vast majority (us four) are quite happy with whatever you choose 🙂
My take on the library (probably me being cynical) was it’s just a media whore bloke trying to pool other people’s hard work under his own banner.
chas. It isn’t? Can you send an email address?
bollix post from Raddy, lovely jubbly, just what the doctor prescribed.
me, 1 of vast majority clearing off at 8:30. My gorgeous gardener and Spurs supporter agreed to do my new garden as well as the old one. I think he likes me 🙂 have to do me make up, cheerio
BR
I sent the arsenal nuts email link.
Not sure I should have after reading Micky’s cynical but maybe accurate appraisal. 🙂
Eddie
For someone pretending to be a bloke, you do let yourself down sometimes
Or are we now pretending to be a bi/trans something or other?
