Back to me poll do-da to help fill the gap.
Pretty sure we’d all be pretty close now after 8 league games to picking Unai’s starting XI.
I’m by far and away the most knowledgeable on this site when it comes to attacking football, but beyond useless when it comes to defenders, so although it appalls me to admit this, I need your help.
My interest in defenders goes no further than Tony Adams, although I’m aware that when it comes to the overall defence, continuity is vital as it’s the misunderstandings that lead to more let-ins than anything else.
Sadly, and hopefully only for now, I’m having to leave Laurent out of the equation and just hope he makes a full and speedy return. He would make the poll irrelevant.
So, here we go. Same as before, 4-2-3-1. Difference today is that I’m insisting Sokratis is a starter, so you’re picking the other CB. Does Holding have a real future? If so, and it’s a close call between him and Mustafi, would that swing it? I have no idea.

I was wondering how Unai arrived at the Holding/Mustafi combo for Fulham, because i’m sure everyone thought the Cretan Rock face would play. Maybe he had a slight niggle but not enough to keep him off the bench,
Ah, I’ve just seen that Big Sok may have twisted his ankle playing for Greece and had to come off at half time. So maybe it’s all a bit academic in the short term at least.

Holding for the moment, and the two, towering Greek Columns for longer term. Holding will become the Keown of the new back four, with Sok and Mav the Adams and Bould.

I’d like to see a poll of Mustafi vs Chambers
that would be an interesting result
So if Sok is injured for Leicester then Mustafi and Holding naturally start but what will happen if one of those gets and injury during the game……………………………

I went for Holding, simply because I couldn’t choose between them and Holding might continue to develop, and therefore be part of our future

the reason I said Chambers is that I think a lot of people have lost faith/confidence in Mustafi and would vote the alternative regardless who it is
