Easy answer to that question 😀
Thing is, as my nephew keeps telling me – Spurs are having a very good season (by their standards) – and that should they win today they will be just 3 points behind with us facing a death cluster. My reply …. Always in our Shadow.
Kaboul gets sent off for a dubious red giving away a penalty – his card is rescinded. Koscielny does the same – banned for a game. FA bias? As if!
Injuries could have some effect upon the result. Spurs are without Dawson which is a huge blow to the Arsenal. The man is hapless and a secret agent paid by Mr Gazidis. So far he has done well, let us wish him a speedy recovery.
Spurs have looked Up North for inspiration as they attempt (yet again) to break into the Top 4. They could have based their plans upon Man City or Liverpool and develop an attacking , fluent style of football. They didn’t. They chose to “ape” the playing style of Stoke! With £100m to spend they bought Orcs.
The skilful Lamela, who is Spurs record signing, hasn’t had a sniff of the first team, instead they have 7 players over 6 ft. all of whom are trained in the Dark Arts. The long-suffering Spurs fans put all their faith in a 21 y.o Dane because he is the only one who can use the ball on the ground. Take out Eriksen’s free-kicks and there isn’t much else in terms of ball skills.
Adebayor. When he plays against other teams he really amuses me in his haplessness, unfortunately he seems to excel against us and we must hope he will have a quiet game today.
Having been thrashed by a fine Benfica team they will be refreshed today. I can only assume they played with today’s match in mind because Spurs were pants.
Tim Sherwood: Can you imagine such a knob as our manager? The man has passion – I will give him that, and a huge desire for Spurs to do well. My wife has the same and also has the same level of team management experience. How could Levi give this fellow the job? Was it a money-saving exercise? That said, Sherwood’s record is no better or worse than previous Spurs managers because you could employ Noddy or one of the Teletubbies as Spurs manager and they would do just as well.
Arsenal: I am saddened that Ozil will not have another chance to silence his critics today, instead we have another opportunity to show just how deep the squad is (or isn’t). A midfield of Ox, Santi, Flamini, Rosicky and Arteta is still strong and the decision to load the squad with mid-fielders has proven to be sensible. In the past when we lost, for example, Cesc, we were at a loss, now we have options.
At this point can we all laugh at Chelsea!! 😀
Monreal will be a key player today as Spurs will probably look to hit on the break through the pace of Lemon and Ade. The midfield battle will be just that, Spurs have monsters and they like to “put it about”, if Sandro plays the match-up with Flamini will be exciting.
This is a day for The Ox. He plays well, we win. For this reason I expect Sherwood to tell his team to target our young maestro, expect to see rotational fouling – which has become the norm – and we must hope for a strong and fair referee. In recent times we have suffered from homer after homer; watch the BM game and see dreadfully biased refereeing. Watch the Stoke game – see JW get horribly kicked throughout the first 30 minutes and then see a highly dubious penalty given by yet another homer ref. It must be so frustrating for Mr. Wenger.
My Team:
I hope we shall see the wing play of Gnabry at some point or the power of Podolski
Tottenham: Regular readers will be used to my rambling on the origins of the city in which we play. To find the origins of Tottenham we have to go back to the 11thC. This was the time of the Battle of Hastings and King Canute and Harald. A Royal edict was written which proclaimed that London (Londinium) was becoming unhealthy thanks to the cramped living conditions in the city. Under this Decree the Nightmen had to take their wares to an area of flatland by the River Lea. A Nightmen’s job was to clean the streets of the night’s “refuse” which was thrown out the windows into the streets. This unpleasant mess was taken by barge down the river and over time the excrement and rotting vegetation developed into a slimy ooze. The area was avoided by sane people and yet there were some drooling, bewildered unfortunates who made this stinking morass their home. Originally known as Shittingham it was re-named Tottenham during the late 19th century.
Big game today – always is. Take 3 points today and we close the gap at the top.
Let it be so….

Arsenal News 24/7

Given it is a sunday and that only one set of fans can read, expect a quiet day on the site.
Very possibly Raddy 🙂
I expect my spud supporting cousin will have a look though.
That Cock and Bull story was good fun 😉
Thanks, BR.
Love the history of N17.
Really surprised that your missus has a huge desire for the spuds to do well.
One thing you can say for Mike Dean is that he’s always fair to The Arsenal.
I’ve always loved the stats charts but I don’t blame the compiler for not updating since the Stoke game….
“Having been thrashed by a fine Benfica team they will be refreshed today”
I would’ve thought quite the opposite. They’ve only had 3 days to get over that display and I expect them to be very under par today. I reckon everything will depend on which Adebayor shows up, coz if the lazy uninterested one does will win today.
…..we’ll win today.
Rasp
I sent an assists update last Saturday evening after the Everton cup game.
No assist or other for the Pod goal against Bayern.
Good morning to “The Few”.
The NLD’s are always interesting in my household, in just three days time my Spurs supporting wife and I will be celebrating 48 years of married bliss. 48 years of disputing every goal, referee’s every decision, result and every single facit of every match played between our two teams.
The family history goes back a long way, my father was an Arsenal fan back in the 1920s as was my mother and five of her sisters, the other sister married a Spurs fan and became a staunch supporter of The Lillywhites and even at the age of 100 still follows the fortunes of “her” team avidly.
I’m looking forward to today’s game, I think we can put one over The Skinny Chicken, I just hope the referee has a good game, is consitent and fair.
May the best team win!………….Of course, the best team are Arsenal! 😀
Thanks chas, I’m working today, I’ll get on it after the NLD – I’ll need your assists stats for the usual 5 😛
Interesting that Micky should go for a dippers win in the other insignificant game being played today.
Every single other person on the interweb has said we need the mancs to win.
He always did swim against the tide, though. 🙂
Superb and hilarious BR
Through a massive error of judgement I will be sitting on a plane for the entire game.
Hoping for good news when I land…
Enjoy the game everyone.
Here’s the answer to the question, btw.
ha ha ha ha ha ha, NLD day. Brilliant pre-match Raddy, just the right dose of methadone. 😀 😀 😀
Would love to see Verms and Gnabry play some part in the game.
How about starting with Sanogo?
The history of the shit-hole was particularly filthy, a tautology of sorts. 😀 😀
Both Chas and Raddy linked to the same, and brilliant, cock and ball story. Oversight or reinstatement? 😀
Back with the mobbollix in a bit. 😛
BR,
My Dad was one of nine brothers, eight were Arsenal and the youngest was a Spurs fan – I cannot imagine how much stick he had to take over his choice. But at 92 years old he remains a hard core fan.
Looking at the current records of the top four teams it is almost in our own hands to win the title.
Here is a scenario that would lead to us taking the title.
A. We win all of our remaining games then we end up with a maximum of 89 points.
B. Therefore if we beat Chelsea and they win all of their remaining games then they end up with a maximum of 87 points.
C. If Man U beat Liverpool today and Pool win all of their remaining games they end up with a maximum of 86 points.
D. That leaves Man C. If we beat them and they win all of their remaining games then they will end up with 90 points. So we need them to at least tie one of their other games which would leave them with a maximum of 88 points. And they still have to play Man U, Liverpool and Everton.
So it’s improbable but not impossible, of the four teams we have the most difficult path to the title.
And don’t forget, Chelsea’s loss and Mourihnos misery should inspire our guys 🙂
Thanks once again for a fine preview Raddy.
Everything about Spurs is history and it’s 3 points and three goals to the good boys.
I have a hunch, only a hunch that Vermaelen might fill the LB spot.
Thank you GN5 for setting the stage, here come the mobollix. Bottomline: the mob predicts most of our opponents will drop points, and we will drop less points than them ( 😛 ). Well not quite.
On Friday, Chavs had been basking in the vain glory of a TotNumb thrashing. The mob put their odds on a Chavs EPL trophy at 65%, the spoils being shared almost in equal measures by Arsenal and Shitty.
The odds on Shitty dropping points this weekend was 18%, but they did not. The odds on Chavs dropping points at Villa was 14%, and they did, all 3 points. 😀 The mob still believe Shitty will drop points against the weaker teams. When and where is the question.
So, where do things stand? Ah, the glorious uncertainties! Shitty up to 40% now, Arsenal at 34% and Chavs 26%. Too close to call. If, and as it should, Arsenal win against the Totnumbs, its odds will rise to 43%.
One caveat. Liverpool is not included in the pecking order. But we know they are going to drop off at some point, dont we? 😛 starting today, maybe?
Cheers Raddy, funny and true stuff.
I myself have a couple of Titnumb supporting cousins who unfortunately had to disown
They think the argument is that our Gran left me the house and olive tree field , whilst all they got was Georgios the three legged Donkey and a framed portrait of the Patriarch of Constantinople.
The truth however is that they still havent apologised for Graham Roberts assault on John Devine back in 83
Thats the problem with Spurs fans, they never see the bigger picture
I have the same hunch about Verms, Kelsey! 😀
GN5
when Spurs lose all their remaining games and 7 of the bottom 10 win all theirs, they will be relegated.;)
NG,my wife is passionate about football that she either goes shopping or takes the dogs for a walk when we are playing.
After only 36 years of being married she says things like ,are Arsenal playing at Home, whilst Iam watching or what colour shirts are they wearing today, or when we get a penalty “who is that for”.
Oh Fxxk for the first time in living memory I find myself rooting for a Man U win….. I feel like a traitor!
Kelsey – at least my scenario is plausible – while yours?:)
What a bunch of deluded Gooners rambling on about your superiority and all that nonesense. You will win the league or FA this year??? Ha! I’ve got news for you filthy scum….another 9 years of nothing is exactly what you will get. Your pompous Frenchman manager has done a nice number on you lot while he rakes in the millions while convincing you a top 4 slot is akin to winning a cup tie or the league. Bray on my little donkeys. Go on. Enjoy it.
Even Gary Neville condoning cheating, ‘surprised Suarez didn’t go down there’.
If the challenge doesn’t make him go down, then going down is cheating.
Halabil,
Here’s a historic fact:
When Tottenham decided on their club crest they decided that they should keep their supporters in mind and ensure that it was a true reflection of them?
Did you realize that a cockerel is an immature male chicken and white is a subliminal message of surrender- your club did a fantastic job – don’t you think?
Get back in your coop where you belong.
I feel sorry for you lot who have Spuds as relatives, I have none, just Arsenal and West Ham !. My brother loves the `ammers, but like me he hates the Spuds !. To tell the truth, if I did have Spud relatives, I would still possibly like them, but most definitely think they were retarded !.
As for marrying a Spud !………never !……….only if she were to sign a pre-nuptial and change her allegiance to the good guys !. I then might sign the relevant form to confirm that she has recovered from retardedness !.
Halabil,
What greater proof of superiority is there than the simple fact that Arsenal have finished above totnum every year since the EPL began.
As for criticising our manager. Yes, we hold him in high esteem whereas you treat your managers like dirt – Martin Jol was too good for you and you’re already touting for a new manager whilst that fine gooner Tim Sherwood is still trying to make something out of the overpriced and under-talented rabble he inherited from AVB.
vPersie has asked to reconsider his latest statement.
Halabil, hahaha, form your riviting and humourous post I can see you have come onto the wrong place. How did you get directed from “Gigolos Are Us” to an Arsenal site?
Oh yes, I bet many women have felt the full force of your powerful personality and razor sharp wit
By the way, i wouldnt expect to much in terms of inheritence if i was you. It may be an idea to start thinking what to do with that one way ticket to Mongolia or find out the uses of a three legged Mule. hahaha
Kelsey: when Arsenal wins a penalty, that does not happen that often does it? no wonder she forgot. 😛
I’m not sure about this supporting the Manks malarkey ……. I’ve muttered it under my breath and it just doesn’t sit well 😉
United are shocking. the more I look at it, it feels like 5 points dropped over the two games. 😦 ah well. 😀
It’s all about man management and Rodgers has done his homework. RVP looks totally pissed off.
agreed, Kelsey, much as I hate to see anything positive about Brend, have to agree there! B$R I couldnt care less about. 😀
Find it very hard to believe that Arsenal could only grab one point from United. They have no pace, their fullbacks are awful. Mata’s a fine player, but is lost in whatever system Moe’s has conjured up, and the multitudes who were clamoring for AW to sign Fellaini should all crawl back into their holes.
Oops, another foolish pen by Mancs .
Can only pray for a draw now….
Man U are paying the penalty!!!
Two against them in one game – where oh where is Fergy when we need him?
Well, we made our own fate. We were not ambitious enough and lost 5 points. Anyway, spilt milk. Hope all will be better from now on. 😀
Trivia question.
When did United last concede 2 consecutive penalties at Home.
First pen Utd have conceded at OT since Dec 2011 v Blackburn, can’t think of two on the bounce.
Kelsey, now 3 penalties!!!!!!
Gary Neville, “there might not have been full contact”
There wasn’t any fuckin contact.
there you go. now Suarez. persistent cheating will take the game down, certainly in England. 😦
Definitely changed times 3 penalties and a red card against them?
The commenter said that it was they had not conceded a penalty in their previous 85 previous games.
But Liverpool are by far the better team.
for me, this is a problem with referees. Suarez tries to stay on his feet, does not get a penalty, so they dive every time since. this is bringing the game to disrepute. 😦
Lets be fair. Without Ferguson intimidating referees Utd have been exposed for what i always suspected them to be, Crap.
Arnie, I think that blaming the referee’s is wrong they need to be given the help of replays.
Technology is the answer.
Funniest moment of the game, Manc substitution, bsr looks towards the bench hoping it’s his number that’s raised. Gutted when it’s microphone head.
chas,
RVP has had a shocking game, it typifies Man U’s woes.
OK, I am listening, GN5. 😛 It has just become so easy to cheat and get a penalty, it is shocking. This wont stop until players start getting straight red for diving. And then, the refs have to be sure. Maybe technology will be the answer. 😀
sorry to go on about this. But, sadly, this puts into perspective how poor our performances against ManUre were. particularly at home. 😦 anyway, that is in the past, lets look towards the future.

Team News
Arsene Wenger has made three changes to the team that faced Bayern, with Kieran Gibbs, Tomas Rosicky and Wojciech Szczesny all returning to the starting XI
To me that line up means grab a leas build on it and then pack the defence for the last twenty minutes.
Is there atime delay in Canada 🙂
Some AA faces on here.

mancs got spanks 🙂 lovely.
brilliant white socks and shorts, the boys look fresh and crispy
Chas – well spotted, Chary, Peaches, GM and the gay Gunners.
Raddy – top PM! Thank you very much. If I didn’t know any better I would have thought that you made up the whole Tottenham history 😉

Literally just say down as Mozart broke.
Bad planning today…..and a garage door lock to replace too.
What a shot. Two brilliant goals by Tomas in recent weeks. Irish must be in ecstasy
just as I thought “I don’t like the sight of Rosicky sitting on the pitch at kick off’ 🙂 🙂
Did you hear commentators saying before the game that the first goal is going to be absolutely crucial ?
hi guys,
does anyone know where I can find a good stream?
OG kicked in the face yet no free kick or yellow card.
Come on Dean
Jamie. Cricinfo?
hi 26
Jamie – try Rojadirecta
Hello WB, not sure we’ve met (but then I do have Alzheimers….). In any event, good to make your acquaintance.

Missed goal
Utd 0-3 at home ROLF ROLF
Raddy. Will read later.
Oh the Ox, what a fabulous run, but what was that at the end?
26 🙂 it’s me, Evonne. GiE started calling me White Beard which I abbreviated to more cuddly Bear
Jamie
Not bid this
http://nirsportz.eu/stream1.html
Ox! Finish that and you close out the game. Come on you Gunners
White Beard? Bloody chin the bastard!
Plenty have said it before, but Rosicky has always had a beautiful shot on him; even accounting for his long injuries, how is it he hasn’t scored more?
26 🙂
Pat Rice looking well, nice wig and all
We need to hold the ball and stop playing so bloody deep.
COYRRG
ah, now we know, the origins of White Bear!!!!! 😀 I thought it was a bad spelling mistake. Trying to put extra E’s into Evonne. 😀
taking a D away slightly better than adding E’s 😀 😀
arnie! behave!
sorry guys, but me thinks we aren’t the better team.
Aren’t the better team????
White Stick, that’s what I’m going to call you…………
26 and WB: how about White Stork! 😛
Why is Sagna trying to get himself sent off – the ref would love nothing better
Thanks White Bear and Raddy
OK half and we are winning but we should have put the game to bed. Both Pod and Ox should have scored.
We are allowing Spurs too much possession and playing very deep.
Still – so far so good.
Well that was a handbrake on type performance after the goal.
Something not clicking in the players heads….we have only one man with the pace to play on the counter. So we can’t play on the counter. Let’s get the ball keep it and take the sting out of it. Then show them why they are forever in our shadow.
Can’t believe it but I have to go out!
And worse still cannot get my recorder to work
Bum,bum,bum.
You will have to see the lads home to victory ……
M’lud (26)
If it pleases the court I would like to enter an explanation…she started it by saying when she went skiing she ended up with a white moustache and beard. So in fact I am only calling her by a name she alluded to. The case for the defence rests. 😀
Thought we should have had at least three goals on the counter.
As long as you are drinking red wine Raddy it’ll all be ok 😀
True Chas….but we didn’t so as I said can’t play on the counter 😀 or should have said the one man who can counter hasn’t brought his shooting boots 🙂
Haven’t seen a goal like that from Mozart since before we bought him at the Euros but then….
Any other half decent team would have equalised by now. Poldi and Santi are far too deep., yet when we break we could be three up.
Something wrong in our balance and it needs to change in the second half.
Ah yes, the “she started it defence”, a noble position to adopt, Sir Gooner of Exile……
I like us sitting deep – we draw them on and hit them on the break. Poldi, the Ox and Rosicky look plenty hungry to drive at them.
How the hell did Spurs miss????
Poor play from Szczesny, brilliant combo from Kos and Merts.
Under good pressure and penetration from Spurs, we’ve lost a lot of our shape. We need five minutes of stability.
Raddy
Re your 4:50
Would Pod have scored had he been on the right cutting in onto his right foot and diito Ox coming from left onto his right peg
Swap ’em over Arsene. Why not 🙂
Hopefully, they’ll tire before us given their thurs game
and as for that lazy b**rd Adebayor – what got into him today??
Top performance from Rosicky, great goal and buckets of work across the pitch.
hopefully, Flamster will provide some defensive shape
Even Clive Allen thought that was a penalty…..
it sure was. refs refs!!!!!!! 😦
White Stick,
Take no notice of me learned colleague, I totally agree with you, we have been second best all over the pitch in the second half.
That is not because they have better players than us but tactically we are playing into their hands.
Vermaelen coming on – as a DM?
Oi Redster, I said that about the first half – I completely agree about the second half, we haven’t been great.
The foul by Vertonghen on Kozzer was definitely a penalty, but we are talking Mike Dean here, guys, and he is Spurs’ final line of defence.
Agreed RA, though that decision aside, Dean has been ok today.
Cazorla and Giroud have been pretty anonymous today.
Santi was OK, I think.
4 mins*&?!!
I agree, 26, and other than that pen call, I have no complaints either – and don’t tell anyone, but he might have been unsighted with a defender in his sight line for the Vertonghen foul.
We parked the bus today 🙂
Agree, again, 26, not among Cazzor’s better games.
Thank you Kaboul, perfect time to give away a free kick.
I’m not sure that we have a bus, it has been 22 legs and 11 willies.
well done the good guys. job done. Kozzer MoTM for me. 😀 😀 😀
Forever in our shadows!!!! 😛
Right, over and out, time for bed!
Yesssss
Rozzer and that goal = Man of the Match. 🙂
Play poorly and take three away points at WHL
Take that. Win in style another day. Massive three points.
Well that wasn’t good for the heart!!
We are stretched across the squad, Ozil, Rambo, Jack and Theo would give us so many more options…..but a win is a win is a win, and as Chas said yesterday it was a Must Win game 😉
Men of the Match ….. Kozzer and BFG, ably assisted by Gibbo and Bacary. But that really was it for us today. It’s all very well playing defensively but when our midfield are not doing anything to block runs it’s all on the back 4 and keeper. We got away with it today, can’t do that every week.
Not good for an ageing heart.
AW gambled that Spurs were shit and they were.
Why take Rosicy off.
Have you noticed ORIG always makes a howler at the Lane.
We will have to play a lot lot better next week.
mert and kos as usual played really well and that goal will be a contender for our goal of the season.
Santi is a better player st Home and Giroud was poor yet had no support.
A really hard fought win.
Who was in that picture chas put up. That wasn’t peaches was it ?
ORIG means OPIG 😉
Oh, I was going to read you a bedtime story 26. Even say Hello.
Kelsey
Remember, you’re not allowed to talk about the game as it nullifies the MR.
Your words Crystal Balls 🙂
White Bits
It’s ok to let people know you do have a bus, despite the fact we keep it in the garage for years on end.
Morning American 🙂
Is the bungalow to park the bus, White Stick? 😀
Hi Micky, 🙂
It is probably because it was a NLD but the old ticker has been in my mouth for a lot of that game — but you are right, 3 points are (4-1) and are up on the league table as we speak.
We defended very well (with a lot of luck) but the midfield was pretty anaemic, and does not bode well for the Chavs game.
WE WERE HOPELESS BUT WE DON’T CARE!!!
3 POINTS IS 3 POINTS 🙂
CHAS — 🙂
Madame Kelsey, what is your ball telling you about the score against Chelsea next week?
What happened to your other ball?
Back and a little the worse for wear after a swift pint of pinot noir.
Great result. Well done you mighty Gunners.
2013/14 Spurs. P 3 W3 D0 L0. 😀
chas. 6.18 Superb
Chas
That’s brilliant. Old Mystic Bollock himself 🙂
Warp factor one please Mr Rosicky !.
https://twitter.com/arseblog/status/445264151582347264
I omitted bits of the TT Mobbollix earlier. Here they are. Our mob odds for a win were 55%, 43% draw.
Next week is crucial. 1000th game with Arsene in charge. What an achievement! Can we perhaps do a tribute post?
Against Chavs, the mob odds for a win are 31%, 52% for a draw, and 17% a loss.
Onwards and upwards!!!! 😀 😀 😀
Is that a compliment or an insult chas 🙂
I usually painy my nails pink.
I think your nails have been painy pink, O Glass Ball. 🙂
Always a compliment to you, kelsey, especially as you’re doing the match report. 🙂
Anyway that’s not me,it’s chary
BTW. I don’t care if Spurs deserved at least a draw . in fact that makes the win even more enjoyable.
I am really really pleased and will continue with the red wine
Okay, great three points, world class goal from Rosicky but I fail to see why we played so defensively? Spurs where shite, we made them look good! I lost count of the bad passes we made and Giroud was not in the game (because the midfield were not either) We won playing badly and that’s fine bit it never had to be that way. Other than that I am very positive 🙂
Hi Kelsey
I would like to know what your crystal balls think of the future chances of a relationship that I have just got into
Shes a lovely girl, but my friends say it wont work coz we come from different ends of the track. She pronounces her H’s whilst ime known for talking bollox
Her table manners are impecable, whilst I eat so agressivly my trousers tend to split.
Shes also very beautiful, whilst I tend to frighten children and small animals
What do the balls say oh hairy one?
Janman. I agree, we let Spurs play. Perhaps BM took more out of the team than we thought.
I look forward to Mystic’s answer!
Terry,
You say, — “we come from different ends” – so your problem is??
e mail me Tery for the answer 🙂
Sherwood said Spurs were the better team, well they had 92 minutes to prove it.
Earlier I said we would score a brace ,which we should have and then hang on for 20 minutes not practically the whole game.
Our first domestic double over Spurs since 1980
Janman to a degree I agree with you,but can’t give away all my thoughts.
good luck to Mo Farah for a speedy recovery. apparently he collapsed and passed out briefly after running the NY Half Marathon.
BR: Well at least we got the 3 points. Tim Sherwood said they were the better team and Arsenal did not deserve to win. Well f**k him, this is football and at the end of the day all that matters is the result and that was in our favour. I am hoping we are saving ourselves for Chelsea as that is a game I desperately want us to win. The only person I hate more than old red nose AF is that self centered c**t Mourinho!!
BR: Well at least we got the 3 points. Tim Sherwood said they were the better team and Arsenal did not deserve to win. Janman – I let your comment out of moderation, must’ve been the asterisks 😉
sorry about the double post but the first one went into moderation?
Thanks Rasp. 🙂
Rasp, I have lost the controls again, and you know my spelling is awful.
Janman, did you read my post just prior to yours.re Sherwood.
Kelsey. No! I just happened to see Sherwood talking on the news at that time 🙂
Rasp
Oxbow-Chamberpot with today’s assist. 🙂
What else could he say,Janman. He will be their twelfth manager in about 8 years, did you see Levy’s face.
Chas. I would like to think that qualifies for goal of the year, what a strike!
Kelsey. I watched the game live on German skysports so I must have missed that however I bet it was a sad picture.
Micky
if you are still around or are you in your wet suit. When can we actually talk about football.
Mybe the New Post should go up earlier or later if you like, perhaps after next week’s game 🙂
Definitely having trouble being myself …….. Lets see if this works ……
I have already said that janman 😉
Kelsey – what do you need me to look at? I’m having trouble getting on myself but I’ll do my best.
You see what I mean ……. this is peaches 😦
identity crisis?
Who knows WB? I keep signing him out but he keeps reappearing 😆
Lets see who comes up on this comment ……..
chocolate legs 🙂
I can’t use the full comment section to approve etc. I can’t see any other previous or not used posts in drafts.

If you are still around can you respond to my email?
Come on every one, Tims a lovely guy
The kind of bloke you could have a drink with in some Boreamwood pub. He would probably get steaming drunk, tell you how Levy slags him off behind his back, the players hate him, and hes certain its Clive Allen whos the one doing the heavy breathing late night crank calls.
He would probably get in such an emotional state, that be prepared to be hugged and carresed by a sobbing Tim
Of course, this overstepping of the mark would make your paranoia grow to the point were fear of buggery forces you to beat him up as a precaution, but this all par for the course.

Ref that day Chas…..Mike Riley head of PGMOL and we wonder why we get treated badly?
Dean was pretty inept today both ways but think Vertonghen was lucky to stay on the pitch with his studs first cowards challenge on Santi. Sagna’s looked worse because Rose did a forward tumble but at no point did he show studs toRose.
Was thinking about Giroud, watching him today I realised what he has stopped doing so much…trying to meet the ball with head or chest, maybe this has been asked of him but he seems to be trying to outmuscle defenders more and waiting for the ball to drop to his feet, maybe tiredness maybe deliberate ploy to try and hold better possession but think it’s leading to is giving the ball back quicker.even if he flicks to no one down the line it’s another twenty yards we can gain up the pitch.
Just looked at the league table and it looks fabulous this morning 🙂
Mind you, yes I wanted a Pool win yesterday, but there is actually the real danger now of Utd slipping out of the Europa places. Look how its benefitted Pool.
How many places are there?
Only one by the look of it?
UEFA Europa League
There are three places in the UEFA Europa League available: the FA Cup winners will enter at the Group Stage; the fifth place team in the Barclays Premier League will enter at the Play-Off stage; and the Football League Cup winners will enter at the Q3 stage.
In the event the FA Cup winners are qualified for the UEFA Champions League the FA Cup runners-up will qualify, but in the place reserved for the lowest ranking Barclays Premier League representative. The place with direct access to the Group Stage will be given to the club that finishes in the highest position in the Barclays Premier League of the clubs qualifying for the UEFA Europa League.
English winners of the UEFA Europa League will enter at the Group Stage, gaining an extra domestic place only if they fail to qualify through other means for the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League. If the holders of the UEFA Europa League have already qualified for Europe, no extra domestic place will be gained.
Should the FA Cup winners, runners-up (if applicable) and the Football League Cup winners already have qualified for Europe, their place goes to the next best placed clubs in the Premier League.
Next weekend’s Chav game is looking increasingly like a “don’t have to win, but it would be nice” 🙂
Morning All,
So if Hull win the FAC Utd will qualify for the Europa, if we win it they don’t …. how the mighty fall 😀 😀 😀
Thinking it through, this assumes Utd will finish 6th – Spurs get Europa in 5th and an extra place for the FAC winners. Or am I wrong
Actually – who cares. The only positive is the humiliation for MU and the effect all the travelling will have on them
Hi Chas,
Mmm, last sentence not clear. It reads that Sunderland (League Cup losers) do not qualify, thus 5th and 6th in League.
Either way, Utd could/probably will, miss out.
We do care, and Morning Raddy, as it would be great Utd could go on a run and actually qualify for Thursday fixtures 🙂
Right, so now it’s ok to support the mancs. I understand.
Correct Chas
Yesterday Pool fans, today Utd.
Call me Beijing Didit 🙂
Haha, you’re right, BR.
I was forgetting who’d been in the League Cup final!
Come on you Reds …
Micky – how is internet now?
Just for clarity, here are the League Steps:
1 End up above Spurs
2 Avoid relegation
3 Top Four
4 Win League
Little steps. 3 down 1 to go
Morning White Stick
Excellent that the Brain’s Trust is up and on the site this early on a Morning morning.

Haha, love getting relegated but above the spuds.
Do you think they paid €50 for their shirts??
Micky 😀
Evonne
Rubbish. Did your Spybot and other thing and still shitballs.
Don’t want to talk about it anymore, but thank you for trying.
Well Chas,
If we are going down, still something to ROLF about ending above them 🙂
Ha Ha. We love Beijing
ok
I despise teams that park buses, but yesterday was an eye opener. We parked the bus and I hated it. So how do the fans of regular parkers feel, do they hate it too?
morning pervie
Don’t worry Micky with MoistIn campaign working wonders and him describing himself as average reckon we could have a few years of laughter.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers said he was surprised that Moyes had labelled his side as favourites for the game at Old Trafford before kick-off.
Rodgers said: “I would never say that at Liverpool, even if we were bottom of the league. Anfield is Anfield.”
Moyes responded: “I just thought Liverpool were above us in the league and playing well and that any average person would have said the same.”
The Liverpool fans had a huge banner proclaiming “Moyes = Genius”.
In all my years as a football loon I cannot recall a team which won the League by 11 points the previous season being 18 points behind the leaders with a few games to play.
What has Moyes done to them?
Morning White Stick and less of the “pervie”
gorgeous – I sent you a photo from THFC home supporters entrance. Could you publish it for our foreign bloggers to give them an idea what Tottenham is like? And warn them not to park their cars there
As I see it for Europa League, currently 5th and 6th qualify for Europa, so that’s Spuds and Everton (assuming City finish top 4).
Raddy – you are not the perv here. Wait, I expect a response – some soft porn vid
GiE – assuming City finish top 4 🙂
I keep watching the Mozart’s goal – it really is something special
Soldado has more yellow cards than goals from open play this season.
And we moan about OG !
Morning 🙂
tee hee 😆
